Dr. Shailendra Rughwani is the founder and chairman of the Expert group of companies. With over 25 years in the IT distribution, he is one of the pioneers in the IT channel, and he also the distinction of being the founder and immediate Past President of Dubai Computer Group (DCG), which is part of Dubai Chamber and a Dubai Government Initiative. As a president for 11 years, Shailendra steered the DCG led the IT channel from the front and enriched the channel with several initiatives including exempting the customs duty on computer products imported in Dubai.

He has been been recognised and acknowledged at several podiums and independent media for his contribution to the industry, and has been the recipient of the Entrepreneur of the year award for the year 2019 by ICT magazine.
